Tuesday 16th June 2020 Theatre in Education - Reflection 1. Global Context - Describe how your planning and final ideas reflect the global context and statement of inquiry: My final issue links with the statement of inquiry, - Art, through its expression and structure, can communicate areas for social change in the world - because depression is a serious social issue that affects many people of many different ages. Outtakes of my video: What is my video? My video is going to be a collection of the effects of depression. Loss of appetite and weight change is the one that I have focused on these outtakes. In the video, I am being offered a bar of chocolate, but I say no. In my final video, I will most likely narrate over the video to voice what is going through my head and further explain what is going on. 

Theatre Project Task 2

Tuesday 9th June 2020 What style of performance? I am going to be doing a mix between a mime and a normal acting performance. How could you incorporate Bertolt Brecht's alienation technique? I will include me setting up the camera before starting the recording and won't edit out me turning the camera off. What explorative strategies will you use? I will be using narration to explain what is going on.

Wednesday 27th May 2020 Mind map: Choose one issue you feel passionate about as your final issue and explain why that is: I chose the effects of depression as my final issue. I have done many school projects about mental illnesses such as depression, but I have never done one in such an expressive form. I have also done the projects as PowerPoints or posters and would like to do a project about depression in a more visual manner.
