Toilet paper roll art challenge

For my art challenge, I decided to paint the logo of one of my favourite superheroes, Black Widow. I chose her because I love her back story, her strength, and her abilities.



First, I sketched out her logo onto the roll. Then, I outlined it with black pen. I filled in the logo with red paint and waited for it to dry. Once dry, I took masking tape and lined the edge of the logo with the tape. I then took the black paint and painted around and over the tape as to make sure not to leave any space blank. Once I had finished the black paint and it was dry, I took the tape of and cleaned off the edges with any red paint that had been covered by the black.

I used my creativity skills to try a new form of art which I had never tried before.

I learnt how to use tape to make my piece of art look cleaner and more accurate

I could have made the logo a little straighter, as it is slightly tilted.

Reflection:

I found this challenge very fun and enjoyable. It was relatively easy to do and gave me time off of my phone and laptop to do something which I don't often do, but enjoy, painting.
