What is a theatre practitioner?

A theatre practitioner is a person who creates theatrical performances. They can be a director, actor, designer, dramatist, or a combination of these.

What do you know about Bertolt Brecht?

He was born in 1898, Germany, and died in 1956
He studied medicine and served in the hospital army during WWI
He started playwriting to include politics because of curiosity from war
He worked in HollyWood for a while
He founded the 'Berliner Ensemble' in 1949, when he moved back to Germany
People began to appreciate his work and he became a famous practitioner
He didn't like realistic acting and didn't want his audience to relate
He wanted to get people thinking about the message of the performance, the world, and politics

Come up with two questions you have for him.

What drew him to study medicine?
Why was he so interested in politics?
What did he do during WWII? did he serve in the hospital army again?
