Cubism Art - Observational Drawing
Sunday 5th April 2020
Our task was to create a piece of cubism art and then draw it. As I don't have any magazines at home and my printer is broken, I could not create by piece. But, I did take this piece of cubism art from the uploaded PowerPoint and drew it as accurately as I could.
Here is what I was trying to draw:

Here is what I drew:

WWW:
I learned what cubism art is
I learned how to create cubism art
I learned how to draw cubism art
EBI:
I could have made the nose more accurate
The outline of the eyes could have been a little lighter
The eyelashes could have been a little longer and spaced out
Reflection:
Although it took quite a bit of time, I thoroughly enjoyed this task. I have always had fun doing observational drawings, especially faces and facial features. So, this was a very enjoyable task for me to complete and it was something new, which I had fun learning about.
I think cubism art is a different expression of personality which can be interpreted in a variety of ways. Some people as see the new type of art as a rebellion, while other see it as art evolving and growing. Personally, I believe the latter.
