Inquiry Question: What is cubism and what influences this movement?
What is cubism?
Cubism is a style of art which attempts to show all of the possible viewpoints of a person or an object at once.
When did it start?
The art movement started in 1907 in Paris.
Why did it start?
The cubist movement was led mainly by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. The cubists broke from tradition in their painting by rejecting the single viewpoint.
